| What American accent do you have? Your Result: The Midland "You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio. | | Philadelphia | | | Boston | | | The Northeast | | | The South | | | The Inland North | | | The West | | | North Central | | What American accent do you have? Listen to the tales and romanticize, How we follow the path of the hero. Boast about the day when the rivers overrun. How we rise to the height of our halo.
Listen to the tales as we all rationalize Our way into the arms of the savior, Feigning all the trials and the tribulations; None of us have actually been there. Not like you.
Ignorant fibbers in the congregation Gather around spewing sympathy, Spare me. None of them can even hold a candle up to you. Blinded by choices, hypocrites won't see.
But, enough about the collective Judas. Who could deny You were the one who illuminated You'll have a piece of the divine.
And this little light of mine, the gift you passed on to me; I'll let it shine to guide you safely on your way, Your way home ...
Oh, what are they going to do when the lights go down, Without you to guide them all to Zion? What are they going to do when the rivers overrun, Other than tremble incessantly?
High as a wave, but our eyes are upon the ground. You were the light and the way, they'll only read about. I only pray, Heaven knows when to lift you out. Ten thousand days in the fire is long enough, you're going home.
You're the only one who can hold your head up high,
Shake your fists at the gates saying: "I have come home now! Fetch me the spirit, the son, and the father. Tell them their pillar of faith has ascended. It's time now! My time now! Give me my, give me my wings!"
Give me my, give me my, give me my wings!
You are the light and way, that they will only read about.
Set as I am in my ways and my arrogance, Burden of proof tossed upon the believers. You were the witness, my eyes, my evidence, Judith Marie, unconditional one.
Daylight dims leaving cold fluorescence. Difficult to see you in this light. Please forgive this bold suggestion: Should you see your Maker's face tonight, Look Him in the eye, look Him in the eye, and tell Him: "I never lived a lie, never took a life, but surely saved one. Hallelujah, it's time for you to bring me home." | | Tuesday, May 30th, 2006 | | 12:00 am |

i guess i'm back in this
I guess i'll update this thing or something. i can't even remember the last time i wrote here. usually i write in my blog on myspace. wuteva, i've been giving myspace too much attention lately. livejournal is jealous. so the end of this month i'm out of this apartment. woot. i'm not sure where i'm going to live yet though. i have two choices. i think i may know which one i'm going to pick, though. i really wish some asshole hadn't annihilated my computer with a beer back in december. i miss counterstrike and lineage 2 and warcraft 3. also, it would be nice if i still had a playstation 2, but since katrina was such a whore, i don't have anything that i left at my house. except my iron maiden shirt, but my mom still has that. speaking of house, i don't have one of those either. my mom sold it and moved to colorado like 4 weeks ago i think. so now my mom lives in colorado and my dad lives in north carolina. i think they played the "lets see how far away we can move from kyle" game. my birthday was sunday. the big 2 0. it was a lot of fun. cameron came up for it and l.a. also drove here. i still have booze left over. my asshole dad didn't send me anything for my birthday either. not even a card. wtf is all i have to say about that. it's amazing that i still have this account. i think i've had it since '02. that's a long time. i've met a few cool new people lately. it's fun to meet new people that you actually like. it makes you think "hey, not everyone in the world is a fucking moron." i know that revelation is a hard thing to come by, though, since we have such geniuses running the country. did you know that the US is ranked 24 in the world in math test scores? what the hell? we're the leading power in the world and we are ranked fucking 24? and also, only 59% of students in mississippi graduate highschool. that means that almost half of the kids don't graduate. and a third of the kids that do graduate and go on to college aren't prepared for it, they have to take remedial courses. that tells you something right there about the education system. the previous information was presented to me on Oprah, btw. so mexicans are coming in to our country to try and make a better life for them and their families. SO FUCKING WHAT! Who gives a flying fuck. I mean, can you blame them? is it really that big of a problem? There are bigger issues going on in the world right now that need to be dealt with quickly, other than fucking immigrants, like the fact that we are a NATION OF IDIOTS. we are about to get our asses kicked out of the UN and nikki believes that we are well on our way to becoming a third world country and i am fucking right there with her. poor education is the first step in creating a third world country. this country pisses me off so much that i contemplate becoming a political science major and going to DC to change this bullshit. i'd really rather just move to europe. going back to germany would be great. i could just leave and say "Fuck off you cock gobbling bastards." End rant. Current Mood: aggravated | | Saturday, December 3rd, 2005 | | 3:00 pm |
I fucking love this song. If you're into music and you are open to different kinds and different bands, you should definitely check out this song. The first time I heard Coheed & Cambria, I didn't like them, but now I like a lot of thier songs. They're different. Let me know if you check out this song and like it. Coheed & Cambria "In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3" A broad incision sits across the evening The victim to our fathers lost war The restless children sit and mourn the graves Of those they've never seen before Will they be buried here among the dead? In the silent secret [Chorus:] The pioneers In dealing with it they march for dawn, of Will and worthy The truth be told the child was born Man your own jackhammer Man your battle stations We'll have you dead pretty soon And now Sincerely written from my brother's blood machine Man your battle stations We'll have you home pretty soon And now Awake through motion with curiosity to curtain your first move Over arms length they'll break protocol Jealous envy for the youngest one To be the hero is all I'll ask Can I be buried here among the dead? With room to honor me here in the end You'll be better off too soon You'll be better off when you get home [Chorus] For you, I'd do anything just to make you happy, hear you tell me that you’re proud of me For them, I'll kill anything cut the throats of babies for them break their hearts for they were them Waiting for you to say: I love you too The navigator The pilot Her favorite The one they call the vision that bears the gift [x2] Will, Do the children really understand the things you did to them? And why oh why… Should they conjure up the will for you my love I would kill him we're coming home pretty soon Coming home In the seventh turning hour Will the victims shadow fall? Should the irony grow hungry? With the victory and all they sought for We were one among the fence One among the fence [Guitar riffs and vocalizing] We're coming home Man your own jackhammer Man your battle stations We'll have you dead pretty soon And now Sincerely written from my brother's blood machine Man your battle stations We'll have you home pretty soon tonight Current Mood: goodCurrent Music: Coheed & Cambria - In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3 | | 2:18 pm |

lyrics..again
In the worst of all your fears You have come so far to hear That in turn they've showered your name As the laughing stock Now by fire you must hang As my word holds course through vein You will walk to the end of days I'll gravitate towards you I will, in the now, hate you These days are numbered This close encounter To the heartland, through the madness I'll make you wish You hadn't burned our time before I'll live through this In a manner cursed at my own accord I don't want to go So come on bitch Why aren't you laughing now? You left me here to fend on my own So cry on bitch, Why aren't you laughing now? In my presence You will make sure the fiction meets its fate That death will grace your face my dear character Through these lessons you have learned All the worlds from here must burn For as God demands that the end we miss I'll make you wish You hadn't burned our time before I'll live through this In a manner cursed at my own accord I don't want to go So come on bitch Why aren't you laughing now? You left me here to fend on my own So cry on bitch, Why aren't you laughing now? If my shame spills our worth across this floor Then tonight, goodnight, I'm burning Star IV Only, I don't even think of you No, I don't wanna think of you... anymore Goodnight, tonight, goodbye Goodnight, tonight, goodbye If, then should they come home With failed attempt we'll know I won't leave a stone unturned These worlds will surely burn Wait But what did I do to... to deserve all of you Jesse, bad boy Just come look at what your brother did, To that girl's precious little whore of a body [x4] I'll make you wish You hadn't burned our time before I'll live through this In a manner cursed at my own accord I don't want to go So come on bitch Why aren't you laughing now? You left me here to fend on my own So cry on bitch, Why aren't you laughing now? If my shame spills our worth across this floor Then tonight, goodnight, I'm burning Star IV Only, I don't even think of you No, I don't wanna think of you... anymore Goodnight, tonight, goodbye Goodnight, tonight, goodbye Well, I don't wanna think of you No girl, I don't wanna think of you... anymore Goodnight, tonight, goodbye Goodnight, tonight, goodbye | | Tuesday, November 22nd, 2005 | | 10:32 am |
going home for thanksgiving
In the corner beside my window There hangs a lonely photograph There is no reason I'd never notice A memory that could hold me back There is a wound that's always bleeding There is a road I'm always walking And I know you'll never return to this place Gone through days without talking There is a comfort in silence So used to losing all ambition Struggling to maintain what's left There is a wound that's always bleeding There is a road I'm always walking And I know you'll never return to this place Once undone, there is only smoke Burning in my eyes to blind To cover up what really happened Force the darkness unto me There is a wound that's always bleeding There is a road I'm always walking And I know you'll never return to this place | | Tuesday, November 15th, 2005 | | 2:02 pm |
Guess who this is
Heal myself-a feather on my heart Look inside-there never was a start Peel myself-dispose of severed skin All subsides-around me and within There's nothing painful in this There's no upheaval Redemption for my pathos All sins undone Awaiting word on what's to come In helpless prayers a hope lives on As I've come clean I've forgotten what I promised In the rays of the sun I am longing for the darkness | | Monday, November 14th, 2005 | | 10:37 pm |

Well i decided to change my major from aerospace engineering to graphic design. i'm so glad that i decided to change it because i honestly had no interest whatsoever in any class that i had. I guess i've just come to the conclusion that i'm more of an artistic person than a scientific person. I would always see friends in art classes doing drawings or designs or paintings and I would think to myself "man, i wish i could be doing that." The thing about aerospace engineering that really interested me, i realize, was the actual designing of the airplanes, not the knowing how everything in them works. If i look back, it's easy to see that i've always been that way, but like they say, hindsight is 20/20. For the first time since i came up to "Starkvegas", i'm actually excited about classes. There have been a lot of people that have been happy for me that i figured out what i want to do in school and that i actually changed to what i want to do, but there are also people that have been very much against it, some of the people that are closest to me. I just wish that they could know what it's like, to not know what you want to do, to be doing something that you're not passionate about and to know that you will be doing that the rest of your life. I'm sure if they could feel those feelings, they would understand. I really feel like this is a turning point in my life. So, in conclusion, i'm very happy about my decision, even though some people who's opinions really matter to me aren't. That is all.
